What can I expect in my first therapy session?
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin setting the foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, what you’re hoping for, and how you’d like life to feel different moving forward.
Most clients describe the first session as surprisingly comfortable: a calm, confidential conversation where you feel heard, supported, and never judged.
Do you offer in-person and virtual therapy?
Yes. I offer in-person sessions at my Newport Beach office, as well as secure virtual therapy for clients throughout California.
Some clients prefer the flexibility and privacy of virtual sessions, while others value meeting in person. We’ll choose the option that best fits your life, schedule, and needs.
What is concierge therapy?
Concierge therapy offers the same evidence-based care as traditional therapy, with additional flexibility, access, and personalization.
This model is designed for individuals, couples, and professionals who value:
Flexible scheduling
A more responsive therapeutic relationship
Discretion and privacy
Care that adapts to real life, not rigid structures
In short, it’s therapy designed to meet you where you are, emotionally and practically.
Who do you work with?
I work with individuals, couples, and professionals navigating a range of emotional, relational, and life challenges, including:
Anxiety, panic, and perfectionism
Relationship or communication difficulties
Burnout and life transitions
Trauma and emotional overwhelm
Grief and loss
I also offer specialized support for therapists, medical providers, influencers, and other high-responsibility or high-pressure roles.
Do you work with teens and young adults?
Yes. I work with older teens and young adults who are ready to engage in talk therapy.
Sessions often focus on stress, social pressure, perfectionism, identity development, and emotional regulation — helping clients build confidence, resilience, and self-compassion during important developmental transitions.
What therapeutic approaches do you use?
My work integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
EMDR
Mindfulness-based practices
Relational and somatic approaches
Treatment is always tailored to the individual; therapy here is collaborative, thoughtful, and responsive rather than one-size-fits-all.
Do you offer coaching as well as therapy?
Yes. In addition to therapy, I offer non-clinical coaching for individuals and clinicians seeking guidance, clarity, or support around growth and decision-making.
Coaching is distinct from therapy and does not involve mental health treatment or diagnosis. If you’re unsure which option is the right fit, I’m happy to help you decide.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider for PPO insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service, and I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurance provider.
Many clients choose private pay for increased privacy, flexibility, and control over their care.
What are your session rates?
Current rates are as follows:
50-minute session: $275
(Initial session: $295)75-minute session: $380
(Initial session: $400)30-minute session (existing clients only): $175
60-minute professional consultation: $265
Rates for coaching sessions or packages are listed on the Coaching page.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged the full session fee. Weekend sessions must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance.
What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?
That’s very common. Many people feel unsure before starting.
I offer a brief consultation call to help you determine whether therapy or another form of support feels like the right fit. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
Where are you located?
My office is located in Newport Beach, California. I also work with clients virtually throughout the state.
Many clients live or work in Orange County, including Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Laguna Beach.
